Works continue to rid apartment building of concrete cancer

Conspar has been hard at work on this apartment building in Cottesloe treating concrete cancer at common access areas.

Not long after the works commenced, more concrete cancer was found after previous repair attempts by a different contractor were discovered that had covered up balustrade plates which were rusting.

Without treating the rust concrete cancer develops creating concrete damage such as spalling (when concrete breaks off a building) and spreads, jeopardising the structural integrity and safety of a building.

Conspar, established in 1969, specialises in structural building repairs such as concrete cancer treatment for residential, commercial, industrial, strata and publicly-owned buildings in Perth.

The team of building repair and maintenance experts is led by two registered builders and a registered architect.
